McAfee has launched a new data centre in the UK to support SAAS
McAfee has launched a new data centre in the UK, in an effort to support its email and web Software as a Service (SaaS) security solution.
The new centre in London will help the firm to cater to security requirements within the cloud computing platform.
The security software firm said the latest hub will work in collaboration with another similar facility in Europe to serve its customers.
To offer better services to its clients, McAfee also plans to employ multiple internet service providers.
Scott Chasin, chief technology officer for McAfee's cloud and content division, said: "The rapid expansion of cloud data centres over the past year underscores our commitment to our customers and partners to deliver the highest-grade, global cloud security footprint."
The company already runs cloud data centres in Tokyo, Sydney, Amsterdam and North America, and is planning to launch another one in Hong Kong.
