Samsung has revealed its new Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 Android tablet at MWC 2012 in Barcelona.
The tech company did not hold a press conference but officially unveiled the seven-inch Samsung Galaxy Tab 2, which runs on Ice Cream Sandwich and will compete with the market-leading iPad.
It will run on Google's Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, a new mobile operating system.
At first glance, it looks like a repackaged version of the Galaxy Tab 10.1 but the Tab 2 10.1 maintains a dual-core-processor, is only 9.7mm think and weighs a mere 588g.
The second generation tablet will also feature a three megapixel rear mounted camera and a VGA snapper on the front. It will also have 1GB of RAM and the option of either 16 or 32GB of internal storage.
