About Microsoft Software
Insight Software Services
"A recent IDC performance impact study hailed that the biggest single factor in the success of IT solutions was the skill of the team managing the technology."
Use classroom training to:
- Prepare your IT staff to efficiently deploy, manage and support new software
- Keep current with technology without impacting your budget
With Software Assurance Training Vouchers you get instructor-led technical training by a Microsoft Certified Partner for Learning Solutions (CPLS). Developed by Microsoft experts, these in-depth courses are designed to help your IT staff deploy, manage and support new software.
Before you use:
Allocate Course Days
You get a set number of classroom training days from a CPLS that varies by product and the number of licenses you have with Software Assurance (SA).
Because they are designed to help your IT staff, your SA Training Vouchers are reserved for technical courses only. Examples of courses include: Updating your Active Directory Technology Skills to Windows Server 2008; Planning, Deploying and Managing Microsoft Systems Center Configuration Manager 2007.
Your Software Assurance Manager gets the process started by creating Training Vouchers through VLSC and distributing them to users in your organisation.
When you use:
To view eligible courses for which you may use your SA Benefits, under Program, select SA and in Product Type select Classroom.
Select Partner Location
Once you've determined the course you want and chosen a CPLS, the CPLS checks your training voucher and reserves the training location – typically at the training partner's facilities or at your location should you and your CPLS arrange.
After you complete your course, the CPLS processes your voucher and is reimbursed by Microsoft. Unless the length of your training exceeds the training days available to you through SA, you will not be asked for payment.
