Panasonic has signed a new agreement with a leading distributor of technology products in the UK.
Panasonic System Networks Europe (PSNE) has signed a new agreement with a leading distributor of technology products in the UK.
Midwich, which distributes IT and AV brands, will help Panasonic to promote its latest range of business and security systems.
Stephen Gerrard, head of PSNE UK marketing, said: "The world of business systems is converging. Irrespective of whether they are data, video, voice or image based systems, they are converging into a single network infrastructure, unrestricted by geography."
Under the deal, Midwich will supply new Panasonic A4 multifunction printers, high-speed professional scanners, ultra-fast fax machines, intelligent interactive whiteboards and peerless video surveillance systems.
Alex ward, commercial director at Midwich, said: "This launch is a change in our current partnership with Panasonic one of our key vendors at Midwich. It reinforces the strong synergies in what we are mutually looking to achieve across both of our businesses. We are excited about adding to our portfolio of products and the partnership also gives us and the reseller complete product solutions from one vendor."
Mr Gerrard added: "Panasonic and Midwich share the same vision of the future direction of IT and AV. A vision of multifunction printers that can send voicemails as email attachments, presentation systems that directly interface with computer and CCTV systems that can integrate with telephony systems. This is an exciting time for Panasonic and Midwich."
